Westfest Glasgow 2024. Westfest are delighted to announce the return of ‘drag @ the bandstand’, taking place at kelvingrove bandstand on sunday 9th june as part of westfest 2024. The 2024 winners of the sidewise awards for alternate history were announced at glasgow 2024, a worldcon for our futures on august 12 following a panel discussion of alternate history.
Fter a hugely successful 2023 event, comprising over 120 events and reaching total audience numbers of 100k, the second annual westfest will take place in 2024 with over 150 events will take place across 60 venues this june.
